Camping in a Yurt-Algonquin Park

Algonquin Park our Yurt So, first things first... what the heck is a Yurt? Basically it's just a canvas tent set up with electricity and heat. There are 2 double bunk beds inside.
We were a little hesitant to bring along our good camera, because of the cold... so we brough our cheaper digital that we bought to be almost disposible. To tell the truth, I regretted it the whole time. The Yurt in Algonquin Park is heated well enough (and has a lock!) that I would have felt safe with the better camera.

If you hold food out in your hand, these little birds will land on it and take it. (hmm not sure if this is within park rules... dont tell any one!)

The Jays would never land in your hand... but they were more than willing to wait until another bird did, and then chase them around till they dropped the food!
