The John Walters is a 108 foot schooner that makes for a great ship for a beginning diver to get started with snorkeling. Since the max depth is listed at just 15 feet, it's a good location to get used to your equipment. Due to the lower water levels here, dive boats can't access the site of this deteriorated ship. The most interesting parts of this wreck are the heavy keelson and centreboard box. |
